Manchester United demolishes Leeds United

On Saturday, Manchester United rolled past Leeds United with the scoreline of 5-1 at Old Trafford in the first match of the new season for both the teams. The match was played in front of packed stadium with both home fans and away fans cheering up for their team.

This was the first time in the pandemic when the Old Trafford was jam packed after one whole season thanks to the Covid-19 vaccination drive going right now in UK. Last season, all matches were played in empty stadiums due to Covid-19. Both the teams kept their new signing on the bench, with Leeds keeping their new signing full back Junior Firpo on the bench and Manchester United Keeping their star signing Jadon Sancho on the bench too. The Red Devils Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær started the match with the formation of 4-2-3-1 with Greenwood playing as a solo striker and Leeds Manager Marco Silva started the with the formation of 4-4-1-1 with Patrick Bramford starting as solo striker.

Manchester United Scored 5 goals throughout the match with Bruno Fernandes Scoring hat trick of goals and Paul Pogba Providing quadruple number of assists. 1 goal each from Mason greenwood and Fred made the score 5 in favour of Manchested United and from the solo goalscorer from Leeds United was Luke Ayling, who scored a wonderful goal from outside the box. It was a special match for Jadon Sancho as his transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United has been the talk of the season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær as well as the Manchester United fans would be really pleased with the performance. On the other side, Leeds United manager Marco Silva who is great tactician has to sort out his style of play which was clearly not working against the Red devils with their attackers were able to easily find space behind the Leeds United Defence.
