Ball tempering during the India vs England 2nd Test?

Former Indian cricketer turned commentator Virendra Sehwag took on Twitter to share a photo of England players who are trying to press the ball with their spikes of shoes.

Sharing a photo of the player’s foot Virendra Sehwag wrote “Yeh kya ho raha hai. Is it ball tampering by Eng ya covid preventive measures?”

Currently, India is playing against England in their second match of the series at Lords. On the 15th August 4th day of the Test match was going on and Virendra Sehwag tweeted a photo and may accuse England players of ball-tampering. In the other half of the tweet, he joked and said is it covid preventive measures with smile emoji.

Since the coronavirus is still a threat to the world, only sweat is allowed by ICC to apply on-ball for getting swing. Before this Australian cricketers David Warner, Steve Smith were banned for 1 year for tempering with the ball.

Even though it was just an accusation by Sehwag, in future if it turns out to be tempering then this can be a big problem for England Cricket.
