Hyderabad: Bollywood and South film Industry actor Rakul Preet Singh and Rana Daggubati with other 10 people have been summoned in a four-year-old drug case whereas “it is premature to say they are involved in money laundering” said a senior official of the Enforcement Director.
According to sources popular actor Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja and Puri Jagannadh has been summoned by the Enforcement Director in connection with a four-year-old drug case. As per the sources Rakul Preet Singh on 6 September, Rana Daggubati on 8 September, Ravi Teja on 9 September and director Puri Jagannadh on September 31 is the days where they will have to go for question answers.
Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department had registered 12 cases of drugs worth rupees 30 lakh in 2017 whereas charge sheets have been filed in 11 cases.
So far 62 people have been questioned by Telangana Excise Department out of which 11 people have a connection with the film Industry and 30 people have been already arrested.
So far Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja and Puri Jagannadh are not accused in the drug case, they are just summoned by Telangana Excise Department for questions. ” It is premature to say they are involved in money laundering” Senior Official of the Enforcement Director.
