Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Manchester United after 12 years

MANCHESTER: This year’s summer transfer window is turning out be one of the most interesting and craziest transfer windows in the history of European club football with Manchester United confirming the deal with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo is returning back to English club Manchester United, the club which he left 12 years ago in 2009 for Real Madrid. In Manchester United he gained a legendary status among the fans and after a transfer fees which was in 2009 was a record breaking fees for a footballer was offered by Real Madrid and Manchester United accepted it.

In Real Madrid, he went on to become the greatest footballer ever in world. In 2018 he joined Italian club Juventus and continued his goalscoring exploits there.

In last few days, there were rumours that he was unsettled in Juventus and wanted to join a new club. Yesterday, various media outlets reported that the Portuguese is interested in moving to Manchester City which angered many Manchester United because of obvious reasons.

However, today news came out that Ronaldo has boarded his Private jet and according to some media outlets transfer fees agreed between Manchester United and Juventus have been agreed which amounts to €20 million+ €3 million in bonuses which Juventus accepted. Manchester United announced the transfer agreement on their social media handles which made Manchester United fans delighted and excited; after all we are talking about the return of a footballer to the club where he started to gain legendary status in world football and gained Recognition throughout the world.

According to media outlets, Manchester United Ex legendary manager Alex Ferguson under whom Ronaldo developed his game called Cristiano Ronaldo and convinced him to return back to Manchester United. Cristiano Ronaldo has said many a times that looks upon Alex Ferguson as a father figure and everyone in the football world will agree that this conversation between them would have played major role in the his transfer decision.
