PANJSHIR: The Taliban sources said that the agreement failed and they have seized control over Panjshir valley. But Reuters reports that the last standing province of Afghanistan is still fighting and has not been captured. The resistance leader has denied any reports of the Taliban taking over Panjshir.
The Taliban is busy celebrating and fighting the last resistance, while the US troops withdrawal has led to killings and archaic law in Afghanistan. Women are fleeing the nation with little to look back on.
The question remains whether the Taliban will be recognized internationally? China and Pakistan already have their embassies and relations open with the Taliban.
The former Vice President of Afghanistan, Amrullah Saleh, one of the leaders of the opposition, has said that the resistance has not given up, even though the situation is dire.
