Now, the same happened with Bangladesh’s Nasum Ahmed in the 4th T20I of the series against New Zealand.
Bangladesh has an eye to win the series in this T20I match as they are ahead by 2-1.
Tom Latham, New Zealand skipper won the toss and elected to bat first.
In the 12th over of the New Zealand innings, Bangladesh slow left arm orthodox bowler Nasum Ahmed clean bowled Henry Nicholls with a tossed up delivery outside the off. Flighted delivery invited Nicholls to play on front foot which missed and travelled through the gap between bat and pad to hit the stumps.
Colin de Grandhomme walks into the crease with the dismissal of Henry Nicholls.
Grandhomme departed for the first ball which was bowled fuller by Nasum Ahmed just outside the off. Grandhomme comes forward to push it. The ball bounced and spins away from him before which it settled into the glove of Nurul.
Nasum scalped his fourth with the wicket of Grandhomme and was on a hat-trick.
With the loss of Grandhomme’s wicket, Tom Blundell walked into the crease. Bangladesh’s Nasum Ahmed missed the hat-trick when Blundell played the next ball safely.
Nasum Ahmed finally finished of with 4-10.
