Lord Ganesha is the eldest son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. He called by the name of Ganpati, Gannayak, Vinayak, Naganan, Parvatinandan etc. He has two wives, Riddhi and Siddhi and two sons Shubh and Labh. Probably that is why he recognized as a symbol of auspicious benefits for the successful completion of every task.
Lord Ganesha is recognized as first diety in any rituals and worship. The condition of its selection was that whichever deity would first complete the circumambulation of the universe, he will have the right of first worship before starting anything new. Lord Ganesha considered his parents as the universe and circumambulated them, seeing their wisdom and love, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati gave him the boon of knowledge and immortality.
The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated across the country on 10 September this year. Last year, due to the crisis of Covid-19, people celebrated Ganesh Puja in their home with great simplicity. But this time people are also organizing grand Ganesh Chaturthi following the rules of Corona. Traditionally, on Bhadra Shukla Chaturthi, devotees worship Ganpati by installing an idol in their homes.
In Ganpati Puja, people organize Ganpati Puja at home for 10 days and on the day of Anant Chaturdashi, the immersion of Ganpati takes place with great pomp. Everyone’s wish is that everything is happy and we can worship him again next year. This year the shadow of Bhadra is also falling on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi.
On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, from 11:09 am to 10:59 pm, the resident of Patal will remain Bhadra. According to the scriptures, it is auspicious to have Bhadra, a resident of Patal. At this time there is no inauspicious effect of Bhadra on the earth. Secondly, Lord Ganesha himself is the destroyer of all obstacles, so everything will be fruitful on Ganesh Chaturthi.
