Bollywood films scheduled for release in 2021

Maidaan is an upcoming  Hindi-language biographical sports movie featuring Ajay Devgn as football coach Syed Abdul Rahim during India’s golden era of football.

Amit Sharma directed Maidaan, which Zee Studios produced in association with Bayview Projects LLP.


Jersey is an upcoming sports drama movie written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and is a replica of his Telugu film version from 2019. With  Shahid Kapoor as a cricketer, alongside Mrunal Thakur, and Pankaj Kapur.

Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju, and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi are producing the film. 


Prithviraj is a great historical film produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The film is based on the true story of Prithviraj Chauhan.

Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonu Sood star in the film, with rookie Manushi Chhillar playing a pivotal part.


Anees Bazmee directs and Bhushan Kumar produces Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, an upcoming comedic horror film. It is a solo sequel to Priyadarshan’s legendary horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which was released in 2007.  Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani play in the key roles of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.   Filming started on October 9th, 2019. The film will be released on November 19, 2021


Tejas is a movie directed by Sarvesh Mewara about Kangana Ranaut’s brave pilot. Tejas was inspired by a historic occurrence in 2016 when the Indian Air Force became the first of India’s defense forces to include women in the military. The storyline deals with the three components of integrity, courage, and honor and features outstanding female performances. Tejas is a film that shows what women can do and thrive if given the opportunity. After Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), which paid tribute to the military and motivated the people to a considerable extent, this is RSVP production’s second film.


No Means No is an Indian film that will be released in theatres on November 5, 2021. The film, directed by Vikash Verma, will star Neetu Chandra, Gulshan Grover, Sharad Kapoor, and Deepraj Rana.

No Means No, produced by G7 Films Poland, is expected to enhance the country’s tourism.


Ahan Shetty, Suniel Shetty’s son, will shortly make his Bollywood debut partnering with Tara Sutaria in the film “Tadap,” directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. RX 100 is a remake of the Telugu film of the same name (2018). On December 3, 2021, is set to release in theatres.


Heropanti 2 tells the story of the man who helps people late at night. The hero is always there if it’s to save someone from theft or kidnap. When the Government of India discovers all this, he is transferred to Russia, where he is tasked with assassinating Russian troops in the nighttime.


Advait Chandan directs Laal Singh Chaddha, a comedy film based on a storyline by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. 
Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures are all involved in the project.

Laal Singh Chaddha was shot in over 100 sites around India.   It will now be shown in theatres during the Christmas season of 2021. 


Cirkus is a Rohit Shetty-directed Bollywood comedy-drama. Ranveer Singh plays a dual role in the film alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma are among the supporting cast members.

It is indeed a remake of the 1982 film Angoor, which was based on William Shakespeare’s comedy The Comedy of Errors. The upcoming film is set to release on December 31, 2021.
