Bollywood all set to make a movie on Taliban takeover of the Afghanistan

MUMBAI: Bollywood producer Anil Kapoor and actor Subhash Kale are ready to make a movie on the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan naming Garud. It’s all about the evacuation of Afghanistan’s people that recently happened and still happening, the rest of the information like the cast and crew has not been revealed yet.

According to sources Anil Kapoor marked his excitement towards the movie, “Subhash and I go long way and have been friends for year’s, when he approached me for Garud, I was hooked to the script and instantly came on board. The film narrates an inspirational, patriotic story with a strong emotional connect. We are looking forward to mount the story on a large scale to give proper justice to the script”.

As Afghanistan people are facing tension and panic since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan’s government. Countries all over the globe are evacuating their citizens who are stuck in Afghanistan. People have been airlifted out of Afghanistan to neighbouring countries such as Iran and Pakistan also the United State. Even refugees camps also have been set up in Germany, Uzbekistan and Turkey. People in Afghanistan risking their lives to flee from the country, a video in which thousands of people are clinging to an American cargo plane went viral on social media in August.

According to the producer of Garud, the film is all about the story of an army officer from the Garud commando force a special unit in the Indian airforce. The movie was inspired by true events. Also, a motion poster has been released for the movie. Garud is expected to be released on 15 august 2022 India’s independence day. The song is also out “mera Bharat hai mahan” composed by Ravi Basrur.
