Virat Kohli to step down from RCB captaincy after IPL 2021

WEST BENGAL: In an official RCB video, Virat Kohli addressed his fans that “I have an announcement to make before the second leg of the tournament starts, to inform everyone that this going to be my last leg in the IPL as captain of RCB spoke to management this evening, stepping down from T20 captaincy due to work, immense workload from past years I won’t be able to complete. Can not think other than RCB it’s my commitment to RCB from day one, I will continue as RCB player till I play in the IPL.”

Virat Kohli in the video later, thanked his fan for supporting him and believing in him though in Kohli’s captaincy RCB never win the title.

Officials said Virat Kohli will continue to lead the Indian Team in tests and ODIs.
