Special Investigation Team in ‘Lakhimpur Kheri violence’ case to recreate the crime scene

UTTAR PRADESH: The Special Investigation Team has been established to investigate and recreate the crime scene in the Lakhimpur Kheri case. In a video cars and police team can be seen at the place where the accident took place on 2nd October recreating crime scenes for clear investigation and this will give a clear view into the case. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) took Union Minister’s son Aashish Mishra and three other accused to recreate the sequence of events leading to the incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Tikonia Village.

Highlights of the Lakhimpur Kheri case

It is alleged that Lakhimpur Kheri violence, in which four farmers were crushed to death by Union Minister Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra.

On 9th October Ashish Mishra has been arrested by UP Police after hours of investigation and interrogation.

Union Minister Ajay Mishra has claimed that the first farmers had stone-pelting on the SUV car, that is why the car lost its control and accidentally crushed the farmers.

But there is a video on the internet that convey on the 3rd of October in which farmers can be seen protesting peacefully with flags in their hands ‘no violence’.

“Lakhimpur Kheri violence tragedy was pre-planned to teach us a lesson,” says a farmer leader and an eye witness.

Akhilesh Yadav Samajwadi party politician has been put on house arrest in Lucknow as he wanted to visit Lakhimpur Kheri to meet farmers and their families.

On 13th October two more persons were arrested in connection with the Lakhimpur violence, while the court has denied bail to the main accused, Ashish Mishra son of union ministry Ajay Mishra. Ankit Das and Latif Alias kale who appeared before the Special Investigation Team were taken into custody after questioning and produced in court which sent them on judicial remand for 14 days according to sources.

UP Law Minister Brajesh Pathak meets the families of BJP worker Shubham Mishra and car driver Hari Om w were killed in Lakhimpur kheri violence on 3rd October.

Rahul Gandhi demanded the dismissal of Ajay Mishra from the post of minister of state for home. He also added that the entire case should be investigated under the supervision of two sitting judges of the Supreme Court.

Earlier Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on 6th October visited Lakhimpur Kheri along with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and also met families of deceased farmers.
