How MS Dhoni’s CSK bounced back this season

The fact that Chennai Super Kings did not qualify for the Indian Premier League 2020 playoffs came as a shock to MS Dhoni fans. CSK’s India leg was a success

Chennai Super Kings had a strong showing in the India leg of the IPL 2021, finishing second by the time the season was called off. CSK only lost to the Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, but they won the rest of the games with relative ease.

In the United Arab Emirates, Gaikwad is on form

CSK’s UAE leg was successful once again, with openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis returning to form with the bat. In every match, the tandem got CSK off to a strong start, and Gaikwad, in particular, wowed everyone with his bat skills. In UAE, the right-handed hitter hit two fifties and a century to help CSK finish second in the table and qualify for the playoffs.

Dhoni leads CSK to the final

CSK skipper MS Dhoni rose to the occasion in the first Qualifier against Delhi Capitals, scoring 18 runs in 6 balls to demonstrate why he is considered as one of the best finishers of all time. CSK outscored DC 173 to win a dramatic contest and earn a place in the final.
