US President agrees to defend Taiwan against China

WASHINGTON: The United States President, Joe Biden on Thursday asserted that US would be in defence of Taiwan if incase it is attacked by China.

While addressing a CNN Town Hall meeting, Biden said that “we are commited to do that.” He was responding to the question, wheather United States would come in defence of Taiwan at the time of attack from China amidst China’s recent testing of hypersonic missile.

POTUS affirmed that, “Do not worry about wheather they are going to be more powerful, the world knows that United States is having the most powerful military in the world.”

The US President mentioned that, “I do not want a Cold War with China, I just want China to understand that we are not going to step back and we are not going to change our views”.
