Though online classes were being taken, the effect of learning offline cannot be achieved, the CM said, that can be attained through the scheme.
Under the scheme, a place would be selected near the residence of the students. The teachers, retired teachers and voluntary organisations would go there and be teaching the students.
The scheme will be implemented with coordination of the same and the students’ parents, Stalin said. And thanked the education minister and the department officials for coming up with such an initiative.
He also said, the scheme will act as an extended classroom, other than the ones in the schools and may also influence other states to do the same.
