Bizarre: Tokyo’s Joker terror

TOKYO: An infamous character from DC comic universe, stirred up quite a ruckus on a Tokyo train line on Sunday evening, giving netizens a heightened sense of Halloween.

A man dressed in Batman’s Joker costume attacked passengers on the train, injuring about 17 people. The video of people running for their lives doesn’t amount to any less than a movie scene, igniting extreme fear of the manic perpetrator

“I thought it was a Halloween stunt, then, I saw a man walking this way, slowly waving a long knife.”

The attack was held on the Keio express line bound for Shinjuku, the world’s busiest rail station, at around 8 p.m. (1100 GMT).
