I stand against liquor says, Nitish Kumar

BIHAR: Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar has said, “I stand against liquor and I am serious about that.

He said that some people have turned against me because I ordered a liquor ban.

He further added that they might have their own opinion but we heard the voice of the people both men as well as women.

On Sunday, the industry body, the Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies (CIABC) has asked the Government of Bihar to end liquor prohibition in the state.

In Bihar at least 24 people died allegedly after consuming spurious liquor. The liquor ban has been enforced in the state from 2016.
