THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On Tuesday, the Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan declared that free treatment will not be provided to those who don’t follow the COVID preventive measures but get affected.
He further adds that those teachers and employees who work from offices or interact with the public, will have to submit their weekly results of RT PCR tests, which would be paid by themselves only. This has been done to ensure the safety of everyone, he said.
In the wake of the COVID 19 variant Omicron, CM Vijayan has instructed the administration to take precautions.
After vigorous media reporting on majority of teachers along with non teaching staff, attending schools without getting vaccinated due to religious beliefs boosted this declaration.
Earlier the Chief Minister ensured that they are concerned about children’s health and no teacher will be allowed to attend the schools unless they are vaccinated.
