Nelly Korda joins the list of Forbes 30; Under 30 sports category

WASHINGTON: Nelly Korda’s 2021 season was celebrated in golf circles for her major accomplishments such as Four LPGA wins, including a first career major; a 68.774 stroke average; victory at the Tokyo Olympics; and the top spot in the Rolex Women’s ranking, the first time an America was No. 1 since 2014.

Although she has received numerous praises for her victories, Forbes Magazine recently unveiled it’s 10th annual 30 ‘Under 30’ list of standout athletes and sport-industry officials, and Korda, 23, was among the lists.

Forbes 30 Under 30 is a set of lists of people under 30 years old issued annually by Forbes magazine and a few of its regional editions.

Raunak Nirmal, an India born Sikh American who has made it to the 30 ‘Under 30’ list for Forbes magazine, in the category of Retail and E-commerce.

Korda’s first cut was at the U.S. Women’s Open, at age 14. Among others named to the list included NBA’s Devin Booker, Olympic gymnastics gold medalist Sunisa Lee.
