NEW DELHI: The first train from Delhi to Ayodhya has been flagged. Arvind Kejriwal on Twitter described how the thought regarding the initiative came to him. He also said these were very emotional moments for him while wishing a blessed journey to all the pilgrims.
Kejriwal said, “A few days ago, when I had darshan of Shri Ramlala in Ayodhya ji, a thought came in my mind, I should make all my elders of Delhi also have darshan of Lord Shri Ram.”
“The first train of pilgrimage was flagged off from Delhi to Ayodhya today. These were very emotional moments for me, may everyone’s journey be blessed” added, Kejriwal.
Initially, the scheme covered 13 pilgrimage sites. The list has now moved to 15 with the inclusion of Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan and Velankanni Church in Tamil Nadu.
