DMRC: In view of the restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of the Covid – 19 pandemic, entry through some of the gates would be regulated

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has informed on Twitter that due to Covid – 19 restrictions the entries from some gates would be in regulation.

DMRC said that, “In view of the restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of the Covid – 19 pandemic, entry through some of the gates would be regulated.”

DMRC has requested for only necessary travel to the passengers. It said that, “Passengers are therefore requested to travel only if absolutely essential and keep some additional time for their travel.”

DMRC have shared the update with regard to the services mentioning that travel will be allowed only upto 50% seating capacity inside the Metro trains. With that, no standing passenger would be allowed during the travel.

On Wednesday, long queues were reported outside metro stations due to Covid – 19 restrictions and regulations being followed by the DMRC.
