NEW DELHI: On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin has told US counterpart Joe Biden that he is “convinced” that “effective dialogue” between Moscow and Washington is possible.
Putin said that, “I am convinced that we can move forward and establish an effective Russia-American dialogue based on mutual respect and consideration of each other’s national interests.”
This has come hours ahead of telephone talks as tensions rise over Ukraine issue.
Russia has denied any plan to attack Ukraine and says as it likes has the right to move its troops on its own soil.
As per Horne, the White House spokesperson, the Biden administration has been engaged in deep talks with Ukraine with that, NATO allies including those who border Russia.
