Greenhouse gas levels hit record high in 2020: World Meteorological Organization report

The World Meteorological Secretary Organisation Secretary Prof Petteri Taalas said that “The Greenhouse Gas Bulletin contains a stark, scientific message for the climate change negotiation at COP26. At the current rate of increase in greenhouse gas concentration we will see a temperature increase by the end of this century far in excess of the Paris Agreement targets and we are way of track.” The growth in greenhouse gas concentration jeopardizes Paris Agreement temperature targets.
